An investigation into the impact of urban infrastructure on our lived experiences.  This critical publication introduces the burgeoning field of neuroarchitecture by examining streetscapes in Western cities such as Amsterdam, Toronto, Manchester and Oslo. Through analysis of each location, it questions design guidelines and gives practical tools to improve the human-scale attributes of high-density built environments.
